The meaningfulness of short interpretation in brief clinical encounter

Bandar AlAqeel, Pierre Assalian

The patient showed significant improvement after only one session, when these unconscious factors were interpreted to and accepted by the patient. We discuss briefly the application of psychodynamic theory in sex therapy and possible implementations in training settings.
